Meter Project

The Utah State Legislature have passed House Bill 242, which is now Senate Bill 251, secondary water metering requirement. This bill requires the installation and use of meters on all secondary water connections by January 1, 2030. This bill also states that penalties for noncompliance will be assessed to the water districts.

Beginning 2023, South Ogden Conservation District and Weber-Box Elder Conservation District will continue to install the secondary water meters at a much more aggressive pace.

Meters will be installed throughout phases over the next several years. For current phases and meter details, see projects.

Meters and meter pits will be installed at current master valve location. Master valves will be moved to the down stream side of meter pit and tied back into property owners system.

A meter portal to view your usage will be available soon. If you have an existing meter or see your address on the current projects, you can send your name and email to meters@pineviewwater.com. Once the meter portal is available and your address shows an active meter, you will be sent an email for login instructions. Please do not send in your contact information until you are on the project list or have an existing meter. Your email may be over looked at a later time if sent in early.
